This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices of Shaeba Ratings.  This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this platform. It will notify you of the following:

1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the website, how it is used and with whom it may be shared

2. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data

3. The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information

4. How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information

Information Collection, Usage, and Sharing

We collect PII data (name, email, & profile photo) when a user explicitly authenticates to the platform, using the sign-in option.  We also collect ratings data, when a user rates things using our platform.  The collected data is used to show respective users, any and all ratings they may have done through the platform.  Ratings data is also made available anonymously to all platform users.  Shaeba Corp is the sole owner of this data.  Only authorized personnel within the organization have access to this data for administrative and analytical purposes.  The PII data is not shared with any external entity.  Ratings are publicly reported by aggregates, and are consequently anonymous.

Your Access to and Control Over Information

You may navigate to the profile menu option to view all information we have about you.  Here, you may update your data.  You may also request deletion of your data, using the unregister action on the page or  the namesake menu action.  Upon such request, your personally identifiable data will be immediately marked for deletion in our system and no longer available to anyone, including yourself.  Unless you sign in again, a backend process will remove the underlying database records from our system after 30 days.

Authentication 

When a user signs in, we obtain their name and email address.  We require that users sign-in to rate things.  This accomplishes two things:

• Prevents bots from rating things, which if allowed to occur could dilute the human experience context normally associated with ratings.

• Allows the system to uniquely identify every person who rates things.  Which, in turn, allows a user to rate an entity using the same criterion multiple times without skewing ratings in aggregate, because the system is able to filter out duplicate older ratings from a given user.

Current sign-in options are limited to Google & Facebook and others will be added soon.

Security

Only sensitive data we collect are user name and email address and take the following measures to secure it:

• Communication - we use encrypted channel for all communication between user device and our servers

• Client device - we maintain authenticated user's email address in encrypted storage on client device

• Server store - we maintain authenticated users' name and email address in a secured database, with access restricted to administrative personnel only

Sharing

We publicly share aggregate rating information and related matrices without any individually or personally identifiable data associations.
